BloodRayne 2 Review
I got this game off of Steam and same like with every other game (That I cannot tell you), but anyway, I played the first level or so and here is what I have to consider about BloodRayne 2:
Graphics: 7.5/10
I rather expected that since a pretty new game just came out, the graphics would be awesome. The movements flow, but Rayne needs facial expressions! (aside from eye movements). The texture of the game is pretty good. Sometimes a glimpse over there and you might see a jaggie. The level of detail is very good.
Sound: 8.5/10
Dolby Digital has some really spooky ways to scare you ingame when you play it on good speakers in the dark. Although Rayne's shrieks (like if she dies or walks over some fire or something) are always the same, the game is also made with cheesy one-liners which gets very annoying from time to time.
Gameplay: 9.5/10
Really fun to pick up, hard to put down. Its a really one of a kind game , and it's a lot like the matix combined with Mortal Combat. You have alot of control over what you can do, from getting through acrobatics, to figuring out how you have to kill people to move on. For example, in one level, you start out in a bar, then a police car crashes in and sets the bottom floor on fire, so you have to slash your way up to the third story, and then throw people into a fan using your harpoon. Once you've done it enough times, the unlucky human breaks the fan and you can jump out.
Replay Value: (from a scale of Horrible, Bad, Fun, Great, Excellent) I'd say Fun, its one of those games that you finish and set aside for when you're bored
Overall (not an average): I'd give it an 8.5/10, its a good game worth picking up, but its also kind of love it or hate it.
