Motion Tweening In Flash

13 Aug in flash

I am here to make a quick and easy Motion Tween how-to In Flash!

1)    First just make a ball for example and add another key frame in frame 15.

2)    Select Frame 15 and move the ball somewhere else.

3)   Now go back to frame 1 and highlight from frame one to frame 15 and right-click it.

4)   There should be an option saying insert motion tween. Select it and test the movie. The ball should move across the screen smoothly.

If it doesn't go here for an example:  CLICK HERE

Now if you want to get even more related to motion-tween like making a guy dance keep on reading.

1)    First to make a guy dance add 3 layers. One for the head, one for the left hand, and one for the right hand. Then add somewhere around 40 frames on each layer.

2)   Draw the body and the hands. Be sure to seperate them into the layers. Turn them all into graphic symbols...

3)   Now somewhere around frame 5 add a keyframe and make the right arm move down and the left arm stay. And make the body move to the right.

4)    Now make the right arm move back up and the left arm go down. Then make the body go to the left. This is all made in frame 10. Each layer remember!

5)     Now put the right arm down and keep the left one where it. Try to level out the two arms. The make the body go up. This is like the dude is jumping up and holding with himself with his two hands. This is all made in frame 15.

6)    Drag the body back down and make the right arm go left and the left arm go right. This is all made in frame 20.

7)    Make both arm go over his head. This is made in frame 25.

8)    Dont forget to keep adding keyframes every time you make him do something... Anyway, keep the hands where they are and move the body to the right.

9)    Then move the body to the left farther then the hands. KEEP THE HANDS WHERE THEY ARE.

10)    At frame 40 put the hands back to his sides as if he is done.

11)    Now highlight everything and right-click the mouse. There is the option motion-tween. Click it. If you want add some music to make it look cooler. Or even add some wierd background. LOL

12) Test your movie. Everything should run smoothly. This is what it should look like. CLICK HERE
