Winter poem
Here is a poem I wrote in 4th grade, but modified (actually I changed it) from Autumn into Winter...Enjoy
Winter
By: Denis Firstov
Fall loses warm as a new season comes.
Leaves fall quickly down like a rock to a floor through the blue sky.
Cherries fall softly on the ground with a gentle tap.
Birds sing marvelous tiny chirping songs.
Icy cold water rushes from the river.
Winds brush back with a cool breeze.
The cool misty air touches people like a cool tap of a mouse.
Hot chocolate feels warm and smooth on my tongue.
Fresh maple syrup pouring in a cup of tea like a waterfall smashing against the rocks.
Snow falls like a white blanket of heaven.
Folks dressed up like Eskimos on a cold day.
People kissing under the mistletoe like there is no tomorrow.
Winter has come to stay forever.
The End
