I didnt really name this book but it is about a kitten (Jamie) who gets lost. And when she tries to find her way back home, she gets new friends.

Before Jamie knew it, she was being stared at by 2 big yellow eyes.

Chapter 1: Gone

There once was a little trouble-maker. Her name was Jamie and she was a cute little kitten. She lived with a nice family of three. A man, woman, and a little girl named Grace. They were getting the house painted. Jamie kept touching the paint so they took her out into the backyard. Jamie HATED the backyard. She then saw a nice big hole! She darted towards the hole and under. Jamie was amazed that there was not 1 tiny speck of dirt on herself. "I'll come back later" , she thought. She looked around to see if it was save. Everything was perfect at first. Then... she saw a HUGE dog staring at her. She stared back. The dog pounced on her but then missed. Jamie quickly ran away. Lucky for her, the dog didn't follow. Jamie looked up and she saw that it had started to rain. She ran back. There were many fences but none were the right ones. They had no holes! She looked around for shelter. Jamie saw a tree that had a little den in it. She climbed the tree and went inside. She was already soaking wet. She was tired. So Jamie cuddled up into a ball and fell fast asleep.
