I have a guinea pig and his name is Sparky. He bites alot on my shirt for some reason. He also bites his cage alot to run in my room and he asks for hay and treats.To keep him quiet, I give him alot of hay exspecialy at night. Speaking of running in my room... If I would be able to enter him in a race I bet he would run very fast. He even sometimes runs around his plastic igloo in his house very house. And right now he is sitting on his house right now at 5: 22 and at December 30, 2005.
Usually I feed him with pellets and hay. I change his water 2-4 days. I always fill it up fully because it said so and it will last longer.I wash him 2 times a week.

Somethimes even 1 time. After I wash him I have to hold him in towel so he will dry fast and stay warm. If you had that long haired one then you would have to have a special comb and a hair dryer. There is a book you should buy and it is called Caring for your GUINEA PIG. Its a really good book and it tells you almost everything about them. ALSO AND JUST TO TELL YOU DONT BUY A ROLL-ABOUT BALL ITS BAD FOR THEM! Instead give him some floor time. And here is also a little something you should know about them:::: Be carful if you have a guinea pig and he is sick and your going to the vet. At vet schools they pretty much only teach about dogs, cats, and horses. Also dont buy hay except Timonthy Hay other hays are bad for your guinea pig!
