What is a good dog food

I want to feed my puppy the best dog food that is available. After some research I've found that food that contains a lot of corn, wheat, soy, beet pulp by products, chemical preservatives or dyes in it is NOT a good one.
The good quality dog food should have a named meat source as at least the first 2 ingredients and chicken probably is the best meat source.
As per some vet tech that studied canine nutrition for 10 years these are the good brands:
Chicken Soup For The Dog Lover's Soul, Wellness, Wysong, Canidae, Natural Balance, California Natural, Blue Buffalo, Solid Gold.
After visiting PetSmart and checking every brand they carry for puppies we selected Bil-Jac puppy food.
Bil-Jac Ingridients (as per label):
Chicken, Chicken By-Products (Organs Only, Including Chicken Liver), Corn, Chicken By-Products Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Brewers Dried Yeast, Cane Molasses, Egg Product, Salt, Sodium Propionate (a preservative), DL-Methionine, L-Lysine, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamine D3 Supplement, Vitamine E Supplement, Riboflamin Supplement, Niacin, Biotin, Choline Chloride, Folic Acid, Thiamin Mononitrate..., and other vitamines and minerals.
The other brand we considered were Purina Pro Plan (with Turkey as a number one ingridient), Eukanuba (Chicken #1), Ultra Nutro and Royal Canin.
In addition I've read that large breed puppies need different food than small breed puppies due to some growth complications that are described here

The Food
The Food should consist of:
* Raw meaty bones
* All or most of the rest of their food should also be raw
* Puppies should always be kept a little hungry
* They should never grow at their maximum growth rate
* They should be kept slim, lean and hard. Not roly poly, fat, young puppies
