For those who are new to this site I'd recommend to take a quick look at a few how-to's below.
There are two accounts on this site - Forums only account and Blogger profile. If you read this page you probably just created Blogger profile. It allows users to post their blogs, photos, leave comments, use Firstov.com private messaging system, subscribe to different posts and comments, create groups and events, invite friends and add them to your friends lists.
If you went to the Firstov.com Forums and created account there you only will be able to post in the Forums and not in the Blog.
Depending on the reason you created your profile on Firstov.com you could

Start adding content to your profile by visiting Post content link.
Select "blog entry" to post articles to your blog. Once you click submit your article will be made available on this site. By creating more articles you earn points and the top profiles (users with the most points) are displayed on Most active users page.
Subscribe/Unsubscribe from Firstov.com blogs and comments.

If you found interesting content on this site you might want to receive updates about it by clicking on "subscribe post". By doing so you will receive an e-mail whenever a comment is posted to the particular story. Option "subscribe blog" is to receive an e-mail whenever a new entry is made to the particular person's blog.

If you have some ideas you want to share about a story or a blog on Firstov.com, the best way to express them is to use the "Add New Comment" feature. You also could rate other people comments or stories if you feel like it :)

After you created your profile you could Invite your friends to join this site and leave them notes in their guestbooks or use Private Messaging to send them e-mails (they must be registered on Firstov.com for this to work).

I'll post more info later, if you think there was something I missed, please drop me a line.

Thanks for reading :)
-Firstov.
